I undestand your plight as I worked as a server in college and they are not well paid but you know this going in. You are always paid regardless of your service to others, again a "tip" is something extra for going out of your way. Well Melanie you are wrong again, in my business as an attorney people do often nit pick regarding my bill and often large companies do refuse to pay for certain services which are performed but that is not what we are talking about. ![]() Keep that in mind next time your bitter self goes out to eat! Servers are human and make mistakes just like you. Or, better yet, if your boss finds some small error in your work, does he refuse to pay you? I don'y think so. I certainly do not come to your place of employment and demand service, then nit pick your services apart and then refuse to pay. ![]() What do you have against someone making a living. Most people are a pleasure to wait on- I'm sure you are not! If you have some great problem with that, then you should stick with McDonald's drive thru. ![]() And about tips being only for extraordinary service, you are so mistaken. I'm sorry that for some reason an honest answer offends you, but the information wasn't intended for you anyways. Dear Angry,(and too cowardly to leave your real name or email) What a bitter person you are!! My goodness!! The message I posted was in response to a question ABOUT HOW MUCH TO TIP.
